Role Overview

Transvision Solutions provides ML and AI-driven financial crime risk data, detection technology, and services to financial institutions. This role is focused on quantitative modeling and analytics across AML, BSA, and OFAC use cases, covering data gathering, methodology selection, performance assessment, documentation, and ongoing monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform model development and ad hoc analytics to address AML, BSA, and OFAC compliance needs.
• Research, compile, and evaluate large data sets to assess quality and suitability for model building.
• Develop and maintain internal models, test solutions, and improve model effectiveness by reducing false positives.
• Document model development outcomes and support validation, review, and ongoing monitoring.
• Segment customers and transactional behaviors using KYC and historical transaction data.
• Apply data mining and machine learning techniques including logistic regression, random forest, XGBoost, and Bayesian networks.
• Create representative statistical samples for ATL and BTL testing to validate transaction monitoring model performance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, data science, predictive modeling, or another quantitative discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in AML, BSA, OFAC, or fraud modeling and analytics.
• Strong grounding in statistics, AI and ML fundamentals, data conditioning, visualization, and feature engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Python for statistical coding and knowledge of databases, cloud computing, and distributed computing.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
